![]() Rosin comes from an extraction process that uses heat and pressure to squeeze cannabis into a resinous sap. Unlike hydrocarbon extraction methods, it doesn’t use solvents such as butane to help extract the cannabinoids and terpenes. The major benefits of rosin are the result of not using solvents. First at the production level, there is not an extra step to remove the solvents. There is no need for extensive testing to make sure that all solvents have been extracted from the final product. At the consumer level, there are no chemical additives, which is a major plus for medical patients seeking a clean, natural product. There is also the full spectrum benefit, in that the rosin retains all of its cannabinoids and terpenes. Full spectrum extracts are concentrates that are as close to the full cannabinoid, flavonoid, and terpene profile of the raw cannabis plant as possible, yet also removing undesirable compounds such as chlorophyll, fats, and lipids. Preserving as many cannabinoids as possible helps create the “entourage effect”, where the compounds work synergistically together when consumed for a better experience. The trick to filling cartridges and other devices with full spectrum oil or rosin is to get the temperature right. The oil can crystallize if it is overheated, but will be too stiff and difficult to work with if it is not warmed enough. We have addressed this concern with an update to our CFS-1000 filling machine. We have upgraded the motor so that it can push oil more efficiently at lower temperatures. This increased force from the pump motor pushes the oil as well as if it is being heated at a higher temperature, without the risk of crystallization. In addition to the stronger motor, we also can customize any tooling for our machines so that our customers have exactly what they need for filling their cartridges and other devices. If you need something specific, we are happy to help build it for you. Reach out to us by phone at 480-993-8446 or by email at Jim@credencefillingsystems.com. We make sure that you fill it right the first time.

![]() Introducing our newest addition to our product line: the CMS-3000 array attachment. The Credence Mobile Shot extends any of our filling machines so that you can easily fill cartridges packed in a foam array without unpacking and repacking. The extension line connects to the filling machine and is operated with a hand held grip. A push button at the top of the grip turns on the pump cycle. The grip also contains a needle heater inside for maintaining the proper temperature for the needle, which can be adjusted from 60°C to 80°C with the range switch on the side of the grip. As mentioned, the Mobile Shot streamlines the filling process for cartridges that come in packaged arrays. The idea for this attachment was born out of our mission to solve problems for our customers. We have been talking with our customers regularly and heard feedback that one of our machines wasn’t helping them fill carts as quickly as they would like because the cartridges they use come in pre-packed foam arrays. The technician would need to unpack a cart, fill, and repack. We knew we could find a solution to this issue, so we began to prototype an extension for our filling machines so that packaging would no longer be a constraint. After rigorous testing, we have now launched the CMS-3000. Please see the details on our product page and a video of it in action on our media page. We continuously innovate so that we can meet the evolving needs of our customers. We are here to listen, help problem-solve, and optimize your workflow so that you can be as productive as possible. We help you fill it right the first time, and we prioritize our customers’ needs to do so. As your business grows and you’re capable of producing more oil, we are here to help you increase your productivity with our filling and capping machines. Here are two comparisons showing the difference that you can save over time using our machines rather than filling by hand. If you are producing 10,000 cartridges per month, here is a comparison to the CFS-1000M:
In addition, you can be assured that each cartridge will get accurately filled to ±.005g for half gram cartridges. Consistent, accurate filling saves your time and your product costs.

Customization: How We Find Unique Solutions for Our Customers ![]() At Credence Engineering we are committed to our customers and to fulfilling their manufacturing needs. Our goal is to build the highest quality machines that will streamline the filling and capping process, ensure the most productive workflow, and maintain the most accurate performance. We have designed our machines to anticipate the unique requirements of the vaping industry. Since our company got its start 25 years ago engineering medical device equipment, we design our machines with our customers in mind. Occasionally, our customers come to us with unique specifications. For example, a client developed a unique vapor pen that required two needles to fill two cartridges simultaneously. We custom designed and built a filling machine with a dual needle heater. For clients who fill varied types of pens and carts, we create custom nests for each type to ensure they are set up for the most efficient process. See a video of a customized nest on our media page. We care about our customers and strive to build machines of the highest quality and performance. Read what our customers have to say about us.
